Lower Elementary School

Message from principal

Mrs. Shirley Farag, Lower Elementary Principal

It is an honor for me to be introducing myself as part of the MASE team of renowned educators. I began my career in education, over 20 years ago, as a Professor of Human Resource Management at the Modern University of Sciences & Arts (MSA), where I found my passion in motivating students towards enjoying and being thoroughly engaged in their learning and educational experiences, to foster a consistent enthusiasm for knowledge and growth. I later joined The BBC International School, where I held the positions of Head of Academics and Head of the Business Department, and later, as Head of Admissions.

In my current role as Lower Elementary Principal, as in all my previous posts, I have found that the most crucial policy to enable students to gain the utmost, enhance, and enrich their positive experiences at school, is to constantly strengthen the valuable partnerships and active collaboration and involvement of all the main stakeholders – the teachers, the students themselves, and most importantly, the parents, in playing a vital and integral role in each student’s success. My mission is to consistently strive – foremost, to provide an environment where students feel safe, respected, treated fairly, cherished , empowered to always express any concerns, and encouraged to confidently perform to their maximum potential. I relish in guiding our children and instilling values to become, not only the best students, but also the best future citizens that they can be, and in maintaining the standard of excellence that precedes them.
